Issues with many sensors

What you want to avoid is that your WiFi’s 2.4 GHz channel overlaps with your Homey’s Zigbee channel. Overlap causes interference with your Homey’s Zigbee network and communication issues with your Zigbee devices.

This image shows how both relate:

For instance, if your WiFi channel is 11, then that would overlap with Zigbee channels 18-26.

If there is indeed an overlap, then you need to change Homey’s Zigbee channel.

Then I suggest that you install the AirPort app from Apple on your iPhone/iPad.

After you installed it:

  • Open your device’s Settings app → Apps → AirPort
  • Enable the Wi-Fi-scanner option

Then launch the AirPort app and find the channel:

  • Tap Wi-Fi-scan (top right corner)
  • In the pop-up window tap Scan
  • The list now populates with the WiFi networks found
  • Find your WiFi network (typically the first or second in the list)
  • Note the indicated channel number (last row of each network found)

Finally disable the scanner:

  • Close the AirPort app
  • Go back to your device’s Settings app → Apps → AirPort
  • Disable the Wi-Fi-scanner option
