Is there any possibility on Homey to act on battery level on an iOS-device like an iPhone or an iPad?
Try using Life360! You can check the battery level of the connected devices on it. Then it’s a question of flows with logic.
With iOS shortcuts you can create personal automations based on battery level:
You could probably use that to trigger a webhook on Homey.
i have heard of “webhooks” but not yet “dared” putting myself into it. is it difficult? do you have a link to some good self study material?
but i was actually hoping hearing about somethins similar to the possibilites that exist in Home Assistant. as soon as an iPhone logs on to HA there are measruement entities created.
but i do not even have to use webhooks. i could make iOS-automation execute a favourite flow.
but it might anyway be interesting with learning about “web hooks”.
Ah yes, that would make more sense ![]()
The simplest method is using the Logic card “A web request was received”
