I would really like for the phone (or tablets) logged in to the homey app to be able to show up as devices aswell.
This will allow for getting battery state etc from the phone/tablet.
This is possible in home assistant, so why not?

I think you can, with MacroDroid or alike and when you create a virtual device.
I asume with HA it isn’t out-of-the-box either..
You can use MacroDroid for the battery value, here’s an example macro that I use:

Yes, there are ways to achieve some kind of support for this both on android and iPhone, but it’s a hassle. The home assistant app support this straight of out the box
