IR to Lighting Switch /Dimmer

Just discovered Homey and it seems like a really good product. Any learning references or videos? Any videos pertaining to the use of Flow?

One of the things I’d like to do is to control the lights in my entertainment room via a learning IR remote control. Is this possible to do? In other words can the Homey receive IR signals and translate them to Z-Wave or ZigBee in order to control lights within a room?

The latest Homeys cannot receive IR signals. That means they cannot learn them either.

If you have a media centre PC, you could use it to take instructions from the remote control and make API calls to Homey.

You can add a wifi/IR blaster starting from €15. I can recommend a Broadlink RM 4 (mini) 100%. These units can learn/send signals with Homey.
