Integrate MQTT devices with mqttthing

Hi friends,

there is a GitHub project for HomeBridge which integrates any MQTT device, like home built ones on ESP32 or ESP 8266 platform into Apple’s home kit. It runs on a node.js platform called HomeBridge on RaspberryPi.

Is anyone working on porting this to Homey, or has it been already ported?

It would be so cool, to have this in Homey, because it opens up a whole new world to IoT by using a simple pub / sub pattern and supports many, many devices - including garage door openers, environmental sensors, etc.

Have you tested MQTT hub and client in Homey ?
