Insights scale for barometer

Since I configured my own Homey dashboard I want to add some insights for barometers.
I added one for the last hour and one for the last 24 hours.
If you have seen a standard barometer then you know the scale runs from 750 - 1050 hPa. So does the scale from Insights as well.
It only doesn’t make sense when there’s only a little difference in the pressure. Mostly the barometer is running around 1000 hPa. A difference of 10 hPa can make a huge difference in the weather.
Question:
Is it possible to make an adjustable scale for the pressure? Otherwise adjustable in dashboard?

There is a little difference today but almost invisible in Insights.

Is it possible to change the y-axis scale for the barometric pressure ?

In the app the scale starts at “1k” and ends with “1.5k”. That is not a usable scale in my opinion.

In the Web App it is slightly better, the max and min values determine the scale limits, but on the y-axis every value is displayed as “1k”.

It would be nice to see a range from 950 to 1050 or so.
Also the “Last Hour” scale is different from the others, it has a window of 1000mbar (200-1k2) vs 500 mbar (1k-1k5 or 900-1k4) on the other graphs.

Mike

Good idea. I had the same question several weeks ago.

I sent a request to Athom about just this in October. I also requested the ability to use the mobile app in landscape mode. This was the answer:

Hi,

Thank you for contacting support.

The mobile app insights are there for a ‘quick view’. So it isn’t created for analyzing or something but just for a quick look.
Landscape mode isn’t available for the whole mobile app. Only for a tablet or PC. So if you want to have a better resolution you could use a tablet or PC."

So I guess Athom doesn’t think this is a priority.

A little off topic…but can I ask what unit you are using for the barometric pressure? I have been looking for one that works with Homey and have only found the Aqara multisensor…which I don’t think is sensitive enough.

Sorry to say, i use the Aqara WSDCGQ11LM, it’s good enough for me

Too bad, thanks for sharing !

That’s the one I have too…but I don’t really like it. It doesn’t have decimal and it updates to seldom for my taste. I like to have precise measurements fast. :grinning:
