No, I’m not an Athom employee. But I think people don’t understand that there’s more to a device than just its hardware.
@florz Please send me a link for the RAM and eMMC at those prices, asking for a friend ![]()

I don’t use Homey Cloud. The devices from my Homey early26 and Homey early23 are transmitted via MQTT to a Mosquitto server on HA. There, they appear as if they were connected directly and are available in HA dashboards. This also works the other way round with the Home Assistant Community app.

So will it support ethernet over usb?
Good question! I also would like to have PoE on it.
I also would like to group or ungroup multiple Sonos players in a nice way. For instance, one swipe to the left and choose other Sonos players to join the group. And not only the ones in the zone.
Product looks great tho!
Question, will Portal use extra memory from Homey Pro while operating?
No, it has its own RAM (1GB) according to @Doekse
Probably it just connects to the Homey via the API, just like the mobile app
250… lol. i think i could buy an old ipad mini with that
I’m getting new bathroom as we speak. I guess Portal isnt made for those rooms? (ip65)
(its even 8gb)
Ah bummer, we are going to be needing more than 82 pieces though
are you sure with that price? ![]()
I kinda like it, but why so small (2.8inch)?
In comparison; The Nest Thermostat 4th gen is like 3.3 inch, 10 cm..
Size matters as we all know ![]()
What I would like to know: How does the Portal connect to Homey? Using WiFi? And is it a direct connection on the local network or is it via internet?
The price can’t be serious. I’m a little disappointed ![]()
My girlfriend always says thats well above average ![]()
nice price ![]()
Yes, wifi as far as I can see.
Depends on which Homey you use. Homey Cloud or Homey Pro?
That aged poorly…
The big problem is that have t any king of micro phone for use with assistant like Alexa or Personal Ai Claude for example
