I suggest Homey to have a built in better way of understanding that an error occurred. This could e.g. be that flows would have a path of what should happen if an error occurred in the flow (where I could send a push or do something else to handle the error).
Same goes for when a device has an error, I would like to have this as a trigger in Flows. Currently I need to open Homey app to see the red error icon manually.
Thank you for your suggestions, they are good alternatives with the current possibilities.
I would although still like to keep my suggestions for the Homey team to make this more accessible and reliable. This is due to that i believe this should be basic functionality in the system and not require external dependencies.
Currently I have to download the external app and give it permissions to my Homey’s all data in order to use the ’unavailable’ trigger, and still this was e.g. triggered for a device when the device’s app was updated so it’s not always reliable.
Also, the error handling should not require Advanced Flows, in my opinion it’s an important part of every flow that should be easily accessible in the mobile app with the regular Flows.
