Ikea Tradfri connecting multiple bulbs from single power source

Hello, I have multiple IKEA TRÅDFRI bulbs installed as ceiling spotlights, all controlled by a single power switch. I’ve run into the following issue:

To put the bulbs into pairing mode, I switch the power on and off six times. I’m then able to connect one bulb via Zigbee, but in the meantime the other bulbs exit pairing mode. When I repeat the process to connect another bulb, the previously connected one disconnects. As a result, I end up back at the starting point.

What is the most convenient way to connect all the bulbs without them disconnecting from each other?

The most convenient way is to use a Zigbee controller that can pair multiple devices at a time. Sadly, Homey isn’t one of those.

You’re going to have to take out each individual bulb to pair it.

So, is the only solution to remove first bulb, connect it to a separate power source (for example, a desk lamp), put it into pairing mode, connect it to the home system, then reinstall it in the ceiling spotlight—and repeat this process for each bulb?
