Icon for browser app should differ from help/community pages

When the app is running in a browser, it uses the same icon image as the support and community pages. That’s confusing if you have multiple tabs open.

It would help if the browser app had a distinct version of the homey logo. For example, you could insert the icon for the part of the app (e.g. my.homey.app/assets/flow-bold-8a1e88cf.svg) into the standard logo.

But I suppose the browser tabs have titles too?

Correct,
I think most brand want to keep the Logo and use of the logo restricted and most of the time they describe it in a usage handbook what is allowed and what not to prevent misuse of their logo and brand. I know they have asked users to change their avatar.

So probably they keep it clear to keep it’s brand use strong.
Before you know you see people put their face inside it or other things.

Thanks for your comments.
Hi Dijker
Yes, I think you are right, once you start playing with your logo it is a slippery slope. But they could reverse it out for documentation, or combine it side-by-side like this:
Homey flow
Hi Henk
To maximise screen real estate I use vertical tabs with the tab panel closed, so it helps to have distinct icons. For example, I work in SAP environments, and when you have the same icon for your live system, test systems, analytics platform and all the documentation pages …you feel the pain more most!

I don’t expect Athom to do so for the 1% using vertical tabs of the only 20 % using a browser.

And sorry i see it is already to late… someone already did
