Before getting Homey Pro, I controlled my Tado X in their app using the timing schedules.
Now that I have Homey, I’ve been setting up different flows that ALSO control Tado, like setting the schedule in different rooms “passive” when certain people is not home.
I would like run the time schedule feature from Homey 100% but I haven’t been able to figure out how to completely disregard Tado’s own time schedule. Even though I have set up different schedules in Homey and they do work, there are still parts left (at least one action pr. day pr. room) in Tado app.
If anyone knows how I can do this, suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Tado does not let you disable their scheduling. If you set the temperature from Homey then Tado will use that setting until the Smart schedule within Tado reaches its next scheduling point and then it overrides the setting written from Homey.
However: There is a card that notifies you when the Tado thermostat reactivates its Smart schedule.
So the workaround is:
Minimize the schedule within Tado (I believe you already did that).
Use your schedule within Homey.
When you get the notification from the Tado thermostat that it has activated its Smart Schedule again, write the setpoint from Homey again. This should occur once a day.
