How do i make the disk bigger? i sat the disk size to 16GB in vmware but only getting 8 gb. and it is used up by other so i cant update due to not enugh space.
anyone there can help me out? 
In VMWAre (or VirtualBox: same idea) increasing the disc space is STEP 1. STEP 2 is extending the disc INSIDE the VM.
Did you do STEP 2, INSIDE the VM using gparted or another tool?
