Did anyone update their SHS yet?
The installation manual mentions it should be done through Container Manager (I normally update my Docker containers by re-pulling the latest image with Portainer or Dockhand).
But Homey has a built-in option (in the app or by local access) too:
Did anyone try this?
Is this safe to use?
And did anyone manage to update by Portainer or Dockhand perhaps?

My experience is that this update option doesen’t work at all with the SHS-Synology constellation.
The Docker project from Athom with the bulid option does the job of downloading the latest version installing the image and buliding the container. But the steps of stopping and deleteing the old configuration manually is a little bit annoying.
I try to install the app ‘Afval herinnering’ but I cannot find in my Self-Hosted Server. Is it possible that the app is available for Pro or Cloud but not for the Homey Self-Hosted Server?
I have it installed on my Homey SHS without issue.
How are you trying to install it?
I just add a new device via the Homey-app on mu phone.
I believe the app does not have any “devices” to install, so you cannot install it by adding a new device.
Instead, go to “More… > Apps” and click the “+” in the top right corner. Then search for the app.

The SHS Changelog website hasn’t been updated with the latest RC’s unfortunately…
Is anyone successfully using the virtual camera and/or matter on Synology?
If I run in host networking mode, as the setup instructions dictate, connecting cameras via RTSP doesn’t work. Works fine if I use macvlan networking.
I cannot get Matter (using Apple as a thread border router) to work at all on Synology but works fine on other platforms.

I want to transfer my SHS system at Synology to a docker system at my home assistent Green.
Did somebody have experience with transfering SHS to annother basis?
Had lot of trouble with Homey SHS on my Synology.
Currently it is completely unreachable. No by App, no by Browser
No personal experience, but someone else did. Just make sure you don’t start Homey SHS before you have placed your current user data (Synology) to the new user data folder (Home Assistant). Unfortunately in most cases the installer provided by Athom starts Homey SHS automatically.
For Proxmox I have created a custom install script in which, among other things, you can prevent the auto start, so you can migrate your Homey user data.
