Hi Peter, thanks for the reply. I did try the 30-second reset trick. The device flashes white for about 1 minute, then it goes straight into pulsing red. It does not blink red eight times and it has never done breathing blue.

used 3A power block with various cables. No luck. Each combination went from flashing white light to breathing red without ever going blue. When firmware upgrade or factor restore were attempted the light went from flashing yellow to breathing read around 20% into the process.

Any luck getting it to work? I was considering the mini and came here to see if anyone had received theirs yet. This was the only post I saw so not one that fills me with confidence to pick one up.
