The new easy to remember Homey USB Tool is easy to remember and supports three products.

On your PC or Mac, visit https://usb.homey.app in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Main Functions

  • Create Local Backups: Make a full, comprehensive backup file (.homeyprobackup) of your entire operating system, app data, and settings directly onto your computer without needing a cloud subscription.
  • Restore Backups: Recover your Homey Pro using a previously saved local backup file.
  • Update Software: Install the latest stable or experimental firmware directly onto the device.
  • Factory Reset: Wipe all user data and reinstall the latest software to return the hub to its original factory state.

Can you, or someone else, confirm that the USB tool even works on a chromebook ? I used it today to Update Software and at least it looked like no errors were detected. I did not try the other available functions.
