They did: between April 15-22, in the end.
They are expected to ship then, but it looks like they couldn’t meet that date. But when the power supply just arrived and they still have to repack every single home, it will likely take 1 or 2 weeks.
Of course, delays are annoying. Just look on the bright side.
The later you get the early 23, the more bugs will be fixed in the app and firmware. I don’t expect my Homey to arrive before the middle/end of May.
I also want to satisfy my gaming urge, but a reliable system is more important to me.

I haven’t got it yet but I wouldn’t rather like to wait several months for a stuff I have paid quite a lot for, regardless of the fact there are still some unsolved bugs. Thinking your way I could have bought it when the product is released for sale in ordinary shops and not on the pre-sale

These are currently in production. They are planned to be shipped from Shenzhen to the Netherlands in a couple of weeks, meaning we expect to ship them at the end of April or in early May. >

Just some information for the people that didn’t notice (/forgot (to read) the last blog from 3 weeks ago) and are in the 3th batch. (#61981 — #75843)
The 2nd batch (Orders up to #61981) was never send out (yet), as there are troubles with the (now old) power adapter dropping too much in voltage.
The new power adapter was released/received yesterday, so it probably won’t take long before batch 2 is send out now.
So the 2nd batch will probably be send out first before batch 3 is going to be send out, as production of batch 3 did continue it probably won’t fall behind batch 2 that much, just the time it will take to replace/add the new power adapter, there has been no (official) report if the power adapter is added in china, and then send to the Netherlands for further sending to people, or that the power adapter will be replaced in the Netherlands like batch 2.

this is clearly stated in the same blog:
“All other orders should not be impacted, they will have a new adapter from the factory directly. Customers with the old adapters are receiving a free replacement on us.”

I can understand you. But it was the same thing with Homey 2016. If I remember correctly, the delivery was also postponed several times. Now wait and see what else happens next week. @Emile won’t miss the chance to inform you.
To be fair, that update was released as a “experimental” update, so you would not get it without going into developer tools and enabling it

I just cannot understand why they keep communicating these apparently unrealistic tight deadlines, give yourself some breathing space and actually delight customers if you ship sooner than that.
Is the cancellation/refund % so high, that you just keep customers thinking that it will be delivered ‘very soon’?!
Since I haven’t seen what they send you, I can’t say for sure, but if you got the same mail as I got last Friday - it just tells you that they start shipping next week (this week).
And not that they would have shipped all within the week.
But like I wrote, they might have sent you another mail then me.
