Homey Pro 2026 stopped booting after a brief power outage.

Homey Pro 2026 stopped booting after a brief power outage.

Initial behavior: white spinning ring, then red, then reboot loop.

I performed factory reset and entered Recovery Mode successfully (slow pulsing orange LED).

Windows consistently detects the device as:
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2711 (BCM2711 Boot).

The device remains offline and recovery does not complete.

I tested different power supplies, USB ports and cables. The issue persists.

Could you advise if there is an additional recovery procedure for Homey Pro 2026, or should the unit be replaced under warranty?

When it enters Recovery Mode, you should use the app and start the initial setup procedure again. Then, you need to choose “Download full software update” or similar, and then you should be able to keep your data

That’s the procedure for the 2016-2019 models, Sven.

@Daniel_Panciu With a Pro 2026 you should use USB Tools to download & install the full firmware; probably that’ll fix your Homey.
