Was mich wundert ist das sich in der Timeline kein Eintrag dazu findet.

Auf Slack hatte bereits ein User berichtet, dass er nach diesem Update die Namen der Geräte nicht mehr ändern kann. Athom ist aber lt. Aussage von Robin Bolscher bereits an einem Fix dran:

Sorry for non german, but does anyone know how to report issues with experimental upgrades. Apparently Athom support think it is a community and developer issue…
Anyway v12.4.2-rc.6 broke the solar panel report in the energy tab. I now get 150 kwh production out if a 8kw inverter!!! It is totally wrong now.
v12.4.2-rc.7 broke my own yinmik app for pool water monitoring. It is now completely not functional after been running in my own pool for 4 months continously with no issue.
Seems like issues like the above are not interesting for Athom support… I’m not impressed.
For my own app I can at least analyze but the energy tab is 100% Homey and it’s broken.

Finally the device becomes permanently unavailable and only recoverable sometimes by restarting the app on rc.6 for rc.7 it is totally not working anymore. Will sit down and run in debug during the weekend, but it a very simple logic that connects does a reading and disconnects so I don’t expect to be able to do much. In fact the piece that is not working is an exact cc of the Athom example for BLE apps so I would say that the example is most likely broken as well now.

I have ran it in beta from the beginning and now is stable version and it’s been working fine until rc.6.
I thought the purpose of running beta was to get feedback on problems before putting to stable.
I just saw they published rc.8 a little while ago and now the app and its flows are working again.
Seems like also the unreasonably high solar panel production is back to normal I just noticed (for today at least). The inverter was reporting correct values all along just the energy tab that was broken.
It is still not clear to me how we can report issues on experimental updates. Surely the whole idea with this must be to gather feedback prior to a stable release?
