Homey Energy Dongle shipment - April 2025

The Energy Dongles are already in NL and just need to be shipped to you. That process is taking far longer than it should and we are working on fixing that.

Thanks for the update. I did not order a dongle myself, but I can understand the frustration of others.

For now I wish you all the best in solving this issue. Must also be hectic for you guys. Things can always go wrong. What matters next is how the issue is addressed by Athom to the satisfaction of its (loyal) users.

Not the greatest of updates to read but … and I really want to emphasize on that … THIS is communication :slight_smile: Transparency always make things clearer and hence better. VERY much appreciated update although with some bad news.

I can imagine the hassle and stress this causes, but you’ll resolve it I am sure. Just keep the userbase informed. If you can keep us updated on how things progress it’s all good in my book.

And in regards to PostNL … they have never been my favorite party when it comes to shipping in general. (Partially due to how they outsource a lot to .. well let’s call it not so professional third parties). Also they tend to not inform about issues more then actively do.

I have received confirmation that all energy dongles will be shipped on Monday as regular packages (so pakketpost in Dutch). I’m still looking into getting a track and trace number to you guys as well.

I’m really scared of making any predictions beyond this at the moment as every time I have done that I have fallen flat on my face.

No worries, as long as you are transparent on what is planned or what is happening the community will be on your side. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to the world in in general and for sure transport. And sometimes the smallest of cogs can be the one that causes the machine to halt.

As long as you manage expectations with the info you have … you should be good :slight_smile:

Our warehouse is shipping out the Energy Dongles right now. You should get a new email with a tracking code when it has been labeled.

Unfortunately, we currently cannot show the tracking code on the My Account → My Orders page.

Smells like BS! According to google i would Walk :man_walking: faster then having your send an letterbox post from The Netherlands to Sweden. Nothing yet

Ohh and by the way, local webstores have them in stock 1-2 days delivery. So much for preordering. Way to go!

Seeing as others have the mail can someone check where mine went? Have not seen anything pop up, checked spam etc. Is mine on route, not sent or whatever … I just want an clear answer :wink:

Indeed, the letterbox “parcel” was supposed to ship via PostNL. Now they chose DHL to ship the regular parcel. What’s the problem? :face_without_mouth:

Our warehouse is working tirelessly to ship all the Energy Dongles to you. They will continue until DHL and DPD come for the final pickup of the day around 22:30.

The expectation is that they will be able to ship the majority of the packages today, but not everything. The remainder will be shipped out tomorrow.

As a clarification; we switched from PostNL to DHL and in some cases to DPD when we found out PostNL could not process the packages. Our warehouse informed us this was the fastest way to get everything to you.

Still nothing for me… unbelievable. I must’ve been one of the first to pre order, within seconds of the announcement.

Also no confirmation received, while I did place an early order. Today the confirmation should be received. Let’s assume that, otherwise I will report it.

Waardeloze communicatie is het. Vorige week nog keurige mail en moet nu hier lezen dat er wederom vetraging is.

Ook nog geen DHL mail gehad, kan helaas niks anders doen dan wachten.

Maar hier worden geen punten mee gescoord!

Received it today from DHL, will get to set it up tonight..

To chime in on the above, yeah the experience was not great in the large picture.
But they are trying to get things resolved. And of course they start with that while being on a minus x good will, but hey you can’t revert the past only work to a better future.

I know it sucks, but reach out to support or ChefsSlaad, and provide your order number. Im sure they will gladly help and get you up to speed on where the order is.
