Homey dashboard on tv screen

I would like to run the homey dashboard on a larger tv screen. Is this already done? Can someone provide info? Thanks in advance!

NO

You can use any screensharing technology like AirPlay.

The Homey Web app which unfortunately does not yet supports Dashboards runs well on my native LG web browser. I can even control devices with a mouse style cursor using the LG Magic Remote.
Still hoping for Homey Dashboard on Web :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed::

Thanks, that is indeed a solution.

It’s definitely possible to do this, but it requires some extra hardware.

I use one of the new M4 Mac mini’s as a dedicated media center for my TV. Since the Homey app can also run on macOS, it’s pretty simple to create a full screen Dashboard.

(Yeah, I know, this isn’t really a practical solution for most people, but if you really want it, it can be done.)

Very nice Bas! But you cannot control the board without a mouse I presume.

Anything like the LG Magic remote and I’m sold

No, but unless you have a huge touchscreen TV, it always needs some kind of input device.

Hi!

I have found this thread after installing Homey app on my LG WebOS TV. I was very excited but.. it looks like it does not work. I thought it will look like the phone app but it only shows me my favorites and that’s all. I cannot open it, I cannot control it - nothing. :frowning: looks useless for now. So why would #Athom put this app in LG Store to download it? And why it has 3 out of 5 stars? If anyone managed to make it work I would like to give it a try. :slightly_smiling_face:

Because Athom is (partially) owned by LG.

Hmm, ok, i need to try this. I guess and hope this software is going to be supported and developed further.

In my perfect world Homey app would be on AppleTV.

Right, now installed. Indeed, shows only favourites, you can click them, but nothing happens. Or actually, if i click my HVAC icon, I can hear a peep sound from it, indicating a command has been sent. But not sure what as nothing happens there.

Anyone knows if there is a developers pages or documentation somewhere?

Nice. How did you change your Tado display to Red? Is this temperature linked?

It’s the same colour as the thermostat indicator;

Heating:

Idle:

And when you’ve an active cooling mode, it turns blue when the target temp is below the room temp.
