Homey bridge can not connect to Homey

After installing homey pro I wanted a homey bridge to extent 433 mhz reach. Have premium services using the homey app. Installing the bridge, connecting to the wifi, updating firmware.
But then I can not get the connection to homey. I have tried three separate networks all three on a separate 2.4 ghz only(one with the existing homey pro), changing position close to the homey pro, removing and reinstalling. But I only get the text in the picture. It doesnt seem to be any problems with the servers. When trying to connect the bridge is swirling a blue light. What can I do?

Is it a hardware fault or am I doing anything wrong.

Text in picture: Fault during check of status.

Have you tried another power supply/USB adapter?

No, using the original from the package. Why should that matter when it is energized? Just curious.

Sometimes USB power supplies can’t deliver enough power to finish connecting to WiFi. I’ve read a few posts on this forum recently where people were having issues with the power supplies.

Try a USB adapter with a minimum output power of 2A

2,5 A power supply and tried both the original and another microUSB cable.

Sorry to say but same result. :man_shrugging:

I would have been a nice soulution.

Are the Homey Bridge and the Homey Pro on the same subnet?

Yes, same subnet, no isolation, only 2.4 ghz, separate vlan with only theese to connected

Even the same subnet on my phone.

In that case, you should contact Athom:

Have a ticket, answer in 3-4 work days. Hoped I hade done something wrong. :grimacing:

Are you sure the bridge can connect to internet?

I don’t quite understand this line;
Homey Pro hasn’t got any (premium) services, that’s Homey Cloud only.

This should be normal:

https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/4405896417426-Understanding-the-LED-Ring-of-Homey-Bridge

.
Perhaps you added the bridge to a Homey Cloud instance by mistake?
(because of mentioning “premium services”).

.

The position is not relevant, it only needs to be in range of a real 2.4GHz wifi SSID (no wifi5 or wifi6).

.

I haven’t seen this specific error yet.

I know I was a bit sloppy on naming homey cloud premium services. But anyway:

Got an idea from your message and remembered the choice of homey cloud. Changed from homey pro to homey cloud.

Then I could add the homey bridge to the cloud. But that meens they are totaly separated.

But then I think I can narrow the problem to the access between the homey pro and the homey bridge. The cause should be the settings on my wifi/network or hardware fault.
