Unfortunately the Bridge was designed and given a CPU the size of a 1980’s Calculator.
Because of this unfortunately it can only do stuff like relay your local Zigbee traffic up to Athom’s cloud , be processed by them , then send it back to you …
Or relay your local Wifi device’s traffic only if your Wifi device is joined to its manufacturers cloud… eg . A dance between you , the internet , Athoms cloud , and the manufacturers cloud . What can go wrong …
And you have to pay for this (ongoing) for the rest of your life …

I can confirm the same thing. Built in presence worked 9 out of 10 times. Since 8.1.0. nothing.
Same here, not working for a while now.
Both on IOS and Android, Homey still keep me Away or Home (depending the last status I forced it into in a flow…)
It’s a shame as Somfy, Tado and Nuki all get me away whenever I am…
I also had problems with this but now after the latest update for iPhone it works just great.
Try updating you iPhone to iOS 16.4.1. Works for me.
