I want to start a flow with google assist command bv,“Hey google TV kijken” But I cannot find how to add the trigger?
How I achieved this:
I created a Virtual Device (VD), which acts as a “switch” that initiates the flow to turn on the TV and other devices for the “TV watching” scene.
I added this device to my home in Google Assistant.
And in the Google Assistant Automations, I added a custom voice command to turn this device on and another to turn it off.
You give a flow a name in Homey. To start that flow with Google Assistent, just say “Hey Google, start {flowname}”. By using “start” Google Assistent knows you want to start a flow.
So if you name your flow “tv kijken”, just say “Hey Google, start tv kijken”.
Should do the trick.
That option was less stable for me, so that’s the reason why I use the workaround, and I the workaround gives me the possibility to create a other kind of command.
Many thx; The word “Start” was missing in my voice command, it was not necessary to add a virtual switch. Perhaps later it is needed if is get less stable as Joep mentioned
