Hi, the error means http request timeout.
What URL have you set in widget settings? Please hide the Homey id when posting here.
A few de-installations and installations later, I get different results:
Using https://IDxxx.connect.athom.com i get âAnmelden an Homeyâ followed by âZuviele Requestsâ or I get asked to authenticate at Homey which then reverts to ânot compatible with WebAPIâ. in that case if I try to open settings from ConnectIQ app i get a page from connectIQ store stating the âdiese Seite ist derzeit nicht verfĂźgbarâ and no possibility to change the settings⌠really weird.
Tried using https://192-168-178-253.homey.homeylocal.com address which lead to the timeout.
What do you recommend ?
Seems there is an issue with ConnectIQ app settings. Sometimes the ConnectIQ app cleares the submenu settings.
Try your https://IDxxx.connect.athom.com URL. For me, this version is working.
Then select API key, then go to submenu:

Then copy/paste the API key and the URL into these fields.
Thereâs a really bad GUI design and itâs hard to find the input fields.

When i try so, it connects, asks me to log in using Connect App. I then provide access right and then next screen tells me âGerät ist inkompatibel zur Homey WebAPIâ Error -400. If I then open the settings of the widget, I get the following screen and no possibility to change settings or check if Local API key is still selected.

I tried your suggestion, the URL https://[homey_id].connect.athom.com from outside home. And yes it works! Homey is located in the netherlands.
I only get sometimes the message: to many notifications. but all devices (on/off) and flows works
The watch can only do a small amount of requests. It can happen, that a request gets blocked (on widget start), but when going back from message to widget, the data is read again.
Hi, I canât say whatâs wrong there. I think the ConnectIQ app doesnât store the settings. Thatâs why the app tries to connect to WebAPI again.
But we can go through the process via PM (in german
)
I got the same experience. it was hard to store the settings. most of time settings disapeare after log-out/log-in while using the connect app on my iphone.
I decided to delete everything and install en configure your app only by using garmin expres
This solves the issue for me. It seems synchronisation of app and garmin expres fails or have some serious delays.

Then the ConnectIQ has a big issue with app settings.
I think about to take away the second settings level and put all into one list. Perhaps this way, the ConnectIQ app can handle the data. But this will waste a lot of spaceâŚ

I get a Error -400 Device incompatible to Homey WebAPI.
Have now tried the local API but gets the same error.

If you get the same error, the widget still tries to use the WebAPI.
Are widget settings ok? API key enabled and set, Homey-URL is also set?
The Gamin ConnectIQ app on iOS seems to have issues with the app settings menu (especially the 2nd level). Using GarminExpress seems to work.

You can try if iOS ConnectIQ app is able to store widget settings now.

The EU URL is not working for me on a HP23. The âoldâ URL still works with local API key:

I havenât used the widget for a while and now I get error 0 version is 0.2.9 venu 2s and homey is 2016.
Error Code 0 means: UNKNOWN_ERROR based on Garmins documentation.
This seems to be caused by the watch.
You could check app settings if you used API key.
Another idea is: uninstall and install again, then login with oAuth.
Or just update if you have not installed the newest version.
Ik heb opnieuw geĂŻnstalleerd, geprobeerd met oAuth toen een error -300 daarna de api key met mijn ID nummer toen kreeg ik get access en nog iets maar was snel weg hierna alleen maar zwart beeld geen melding niks.
