My Homey Pro appears to be restarting on a daily basis. The reported uptime never exceeds approximately 10,000 seconds before resetting. At first, I thought the “1 day” value always shown in my Grafana dashboard was incorrect, but the data in InfluxDB confirms this behavior. The Homey system information also consistently shows an uptime of “1 day.”
Why is this happening? Occasionally—perhaps after an update—I do receive push notifications from Homey about a restart, but certainly not every day. So, what could be causing this?
My Homey Pro is now about a year and a half old. I’m also running Home Assistant (needed for a few unsupported devices), and it previously experienced similar daily reboots. In that case, the issue turned out to be a failing SD card, which I replaced with an SSD—solving the problem.
Could something similar be happening with Homey’s internal storage? Is it possible that it’s degrading and causing the system to restart regularly?
