This morning some lights were on. these lights belong to a flow that starts 15 minutes before sundown. This has happened before. Does anyone known why this flow starts at night? Was there a firmware update?
It is a bit difficult to guess what the problem could be without more information.
Could you tell us what you use to define when it Is sundown ?
also could you share the flow itself?
You said it happened before, do you remember what the cause was ?
I have seen similar strange things happens, and still wonder how that could be ever possible. My solution is to reboot Homey, and otherwise rebuild the flow as something has become corrupt.
The flow is this one:
Trigger: Date & Time: sun goes down in .. minutes.
I had the same issue with Homey (pro) 2019 once or twice.
Yesterday evening it worked well (like every other evening). With the flow “Shut my house down for the night” all the lights were out when i went to bed.
The morning the lights normally triggered by this flow were on.
The combination of lights is only within this flow.
It is gettin more and more curious.
The same happed just at 10.15 am.
I will reset Homey.

I’m not sure how homey decide when the sun will go down..
Just to be sure (perhaps to late now due to the reboot you performed, so perhaps when the problem occurs again ) could you check the time of the homey device if it is showing the correct time ?
Hi, as it happens, i checked the date and time before the reset. They were correct.
One more thing I can think of: is your location correctly set ?
As I said i’m not sure about how homey knows when the sun is set or not, but time and location is a good guess I think

Just FYI Homey depends on online time servers, it doesn’t have a local backup battery to keep the internal clock in sync.

From what I know Homey uses Openweathermap (or other weather service) to fetch the weather data, which usually provides for the sunrise/sunset times as well.
