Floorheating display in homey

Hello, any idea how you change the view in homey from degrease to %?
I have an electric floor heating and changed the setup from floor sensor to power. But in homey the display shows still degrease and not %.

Is it possible you mean “degrees”?
Afaik only with an advanced virtual device you can use any unit you like.

Otherwise try to share a bit more info.
What do you mean with:

A floor sensor measures temperature.
How do you operate a floor sensor with power instead of a floor sensor.
With a giant dimmer?

If power is the capability, this:

makes no sense to me, sorry.
Power is measured in Watts, not in % ?

What display are you talking about?
Which app do you use for the floor heater?
What Homey model you own?
Thx

Normally, the display in the Homey app shows degrees to indicate the temperature. However, in Norway, it is common to switch to a percentage (comparable to min/max energy or watt usage) in areas where wood stoves are used. This is because, even if the room temperature rises, the floor remains at a consistent temperature. Instead of using a sensor as a reference, a fixed percentage is used.

Basically, you don’t use the sensor anymore. You just tell the control unit what percentage (wattage in % compared to max/min) you want to use. Sure, the downside is that when, for example, the sun shines in, the heating doesn’t turn off. But the upside is that even if the room is warm, the floor will stay warm as well.

Which app and which device are you using.

Using Heatit app and a Heatit Z-TRM6 controller

Have a look into the advanced setting, otherwise contact the developer.
