Heatit Z-TRM6 showing "internal temperature" even after sensor mode changed to "floor temperature"

I am using a Heatit Z-TRM6 for electrical floor heating in my bathroom, and using an external floor sensor for measuring and controlling the temperature. After pairing the termostat with homey (HP 2023) via z-wave I changed the relevant advanced settings parameter to tell the termostat to use the floor sensor for control, instead of the default internal (ambient) sensor.

This on a technical level works, and the termostat is now correctly controlled by the floor sensor. If set to 24c, the floor will heat uo until it reaches 24c and then the termostat will go into idle.

The physical display on the termostat unit shows the correct “target” and “actual” (floor) temperature after the change.

The issue I am facing is with the graphical representation in homey - all visual device information is still referring to the internal sensor, showing me internal “air” temp instead of floor temp - and as such showing the termostat as stuck in “heading towards 24c” in perpetuity.

As mentioned, the termostat “works”, and I can run any flows I need using it. But dashboard visuals and visual indicators are unusable in Homey as it stands.

Anyone else experiencing similar things with Heatit termostats? Or am I missing some additional setting that needs to be changed?

For what its worth: this issue is now fixed in an experimental release of the Heatit app. Their customer support answered me within en hour, and had a fix ready within a day. Dont think I have ever experienced a better product support.
