Fibaro Z-wave reset

I think I did a bit of a boo boo.

After a long power down from my Homey…(i needed to get work done around it) I noticed that one of my motion sensors kept giving a motion trigger so lights out after a timer and no motion didn’t work anymore…

In the developer menu is did a Z-wave reset in the assumption that the network would be re-arranged.

However I think I need to re-adopt all the devices now.

Does that mean I have to disassemble all my dimmer 2’s from their sockets to factory reset them and re-assign them to my Homey?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Correct,
maybe if you have a Homey Backup a restore of that will work as I don’t think the device know about the reset yet…

Afaik, a reset of the dimmer is not necessary. While the first step of the including process the dimmer will be excluded from the „old“ Z-Wave gateway. At the second step it will be finally included to the „new“ gateway.
And theses steps can be done by pressing the switch 1. So there it’s also not necessary to disassemble them from the socket.

Your a lifesaver…it worked.
That saved me so much time…thank you.

Had to change my flows but all in all it saved me a lot of time disassembling.

Cheers.

As a token of appreciation you could click on his heart and mark it as solution.
