Just switched my ISP, and after that, my wifi was “reset” and I had to connect all my devices again. My Homey Bridge however cant seem to connect to the wifi or something.
I get this error
Now this is what i’ve tried:
- Disable bandsteering and separate 2.4 and 5 Ghz wifi
- Completely disable 5 Ghz wifi
- Changed to 802.11b + 802.11g
- Enabled Homey Bridge as a DMZ
- Enabled a guest wifi to try and connect homey bridge to
- Changed power adapter
- Keeping it unplugged for 5 mins before trying again
Now here is my theory: I think this is a software issue, since as the image shows, homey bridge light indicator should be green, but mine is blinking blue when it is supposed to be searching for updates over the internet. It does blink green, and connects to my wifi, but when the searching part of the setup starts, the ring goes back to breathing blue, same as when its not connected to anything.
Appreciate any answers on this.
EDIT: I got it to work!!
What i did different this time was that i did not delete the homey bridge that was added(even with the error the homey bridge is added to your home, but disconnected). Then i just connected the bridge again since it still was in setup mode (the blue breathing on the led ring).
Hope this might help someone ![]()
Edit 2: I was in my WiFi settings again and enabled my 5Ghz WiFi with a different ssid, honey bridge lost connection and now the same issue
it can’t be the 5G WiFi interference can it?
