i mentioned this issue month ago several times… nobody cares … if you set the temperature sensor for the E1 thermoatates to EXTERNAL via flow card it works some time but after a while - maybe if homey reboots or do some updates its revert to internal !!! but configuration stays on external. error message comes up that the temperature cannot be set because its internal !!! please fix this issue finally !

probably, when nobody replies, you asked an unprecise question or you posted it in the wrong section.
If you want to ask a developer of a specific app, you should either look for the discussion about the app or at least mention the app.
The best way is to mention the type of homey you have the device (brand and name) and the app you used to connect the device to your homey. And generally you should check, if there is a topic for this special app, as people look deeper in it, when they know that is close to the staff they are using.
And please keep in mind that most of us are just users who help other users in their spare time. Usually we respond faster than Athom support, but nobody is obliged to react on something in this community forum.
And in the description of the app you will find a section support, where you might find a contact you can ask about issues.
I could not find the E1: External Temperature Sensor
Sometimes if you have different apps (in homey and the producers app) there could be a conflict, which solves it in one or the other way.
If you have some suspect, which might have caused the reversion, why don’t you try to verify this, eg set to EXTERNAL, wait have an hour, check if it is still EXTERNAL and then reboot your homey manually.
Or set Updates to manually, wait until the next update is due, check, if it still EXTERNAL and then do the update manually, etc.
Might help, might not, but at least it is a starting point.
