Detached garden room - extend Homey and dimmer question

I’m currently planning the IT for a detached garden room. The idea is to run an ethernet cable from the main building and build an additional network rack in the garden room to connect equipment and extend the main wifi. Would be great to hear your advice on some questions I have:

  • I want to add a smart dimmer in the garden room. What would you advise here, as Homey is in the main building and Zigbee won’t reach it. The lights in question are these Eva SubAqua 25w.
  • Are there other things to consider regarding extending the capabilities of the main building Homey to this detached garden room?

You can use a ZigBee dimmer with a Hue bridge (any ZigBee dimmer should work) and then connect the Hue bridge to the Homey Pro via the Philips Hue app

Thanks, that’s a great suggestion as there is already a Hue bridge planned there. Any recommendations for a good Zigbee dimmer?
