“Couldn’t connect to Homey”

Hi,
During the last month or so my Homey regularly disconnects. When I open the app it say something like “couldn’t connect to Homey Pro” “Try again? “ (my own translation from Swedish).

Doesn’t matter how many times I try again int won’t reconnect. The only solution that works is to unplug homey from the socket and put it back in, classic reboot.

Though this happens every other day, so it’s not a durable solution.

Any ideas how to fix this problem? It’s a homey pro 2023, been used 12 months.

Do you know this? (By the way, this also applies to all smart home devices)

Do you only connect by wifi, or do you also use the wired connection?

I opted for the wired connection, because I had the same issues as you. Homey is more happy with the wired connection.

The best way is to set the fixed IP in the router. And let homey use DHCP.

Interesting though that it works, since you connected the adapter incorrectly.
