Hi, i was woundering if this device would be a good product to use to override the heater output from the jacuzzi controller, to stop it when the price is high for example. Maybe using the “connection with gate opener” option and overriding it with homey if it kicks on when the electricity price is too high? And i cannot see if there is a output status feedback to homey with this device, so i could set up a flow to activate the relay several times if it does not respond.
Is there any other suitable rélays with feedback i coud consider maybe?
Did you make any progress with any sort of smart control of your Jacuzzi?
I have a J400 and learnt today that the ProLink WiFi connection it has for controlling it has been ditched and i need to spend another £399 for a SmartHub module upgrade and a $60 a year smartphone app fee!
I’m mainly interested in knowing what the temperaure currently is and maybe turning the heat on or off based on energy pricing or schedule.
There’s a lot of different projects on GitHub - one using an RS485 Serial to WiFi adaptor, connected to the RS485 port on the main board.
