Connection issue with "Aqara Smoke Detector"

I can’t connect my “Aqara Smoke Detector” to my Homey. Pairing works, but the detector is recognized as a Zigbee device, and there’s no status feedback. The ID in the properties is “lumi.sensor_smoke.acn03”. HELP :slight_smile:

Hi Dominique, welcome on this Forum … did you install the Aqara App?
Is the smoke detector an Xiaomi or a Heiman version?

Hello. Of course, I’ve installed the Aqara app. As for the model, it is indeed an Aqara Smoke Detector.

… then I assume this is a Zigbee issue more then a Aqara issue, which I have encountered many times myself. Sometimes switching from adding via the Phone app to the Desktop app helped. Otherwise I do not see another alternative then: Homey Support and/or the App developer Aqara support

Take a look here Developer Tools to see if your device can be found here …

Your link brings me to an Error: ˵ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR˶

@Dominique_Schaerli
Aqara and Xiaomi are sort of made by the same manufacturer. Always check Aqara app and Xiaomi mi home app for certain device support.

The Xiaomi mi home app seem to support this Aqara smoke sensor, but only combined with the Xiaomi gateway (zoom in):

“Funny” enough, the Aqara app seems to support the same sensor, branded as Xiaomi Honeywell :thinking::face_with_peeking_eye:

My experience is that Heiman versions will not pair with the Homey/Aqara App.

Correct, there is a Heiman App, Heiman App for Homey | Homey and that only supports the Z-wave, not the Zigbee variants.

Nice to read that there is a Z-Wave variant from Heiman!
