Casambi issues

Hi Homey Community,

I have a Homey Pro and I’ve added a Casambi Cloud Gateway to my Evolution Casambi network. I installed the Casambi app in Homey and I can see all of my lights, assign them to rooms, and control them individually (turn on/off and dim). So far, so good.

Now I would like to create a Mood or Flow within a room. When I do this in a room that only contains Philips Hue lights, both Moods and Flows work perfectly and all selected lights turn on as expected.

However, when I try the exact same thing in a room that contains only Casambi lights, it seems like only the very first command gets through: only the first light turns on, while the remaining Casambi lights do not respond in the Mood or Flow.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

Ideally, I would prefer Homey to simply trigger a Casambi scene directly, since I already have several scenes configured in Casambi that work perfectly. If the bottleneck between Homey and Casambi means that only one telegram/command is reliably sent and the others time out, it would be great if that single command could trigger a Casambi scene instead.

But is that possible? In Homey I can only see the Casambi lights individually — not scenes, groups, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Homey has issues with controlling multiple devices simultaneously, it’s a known issue that has existed for years. There’s a simple fix: add a delay of 1 second between each Flow card.

Try to group them with the < group > app.

I have a different problem, I added the dimmable dali lights in Homey with the Casambi app, everything looks fine, I can see the new device in Homey, but nothing happens if I turn on the light or try to dimm. Do you have any idea what I did wrong? The Homey is only 3 meter away from the lamp. In the Casambi Android app everything works.
