Can't connect Meross MSS425F with Homey Pro

Hi,

I bought the Meross MSS425F power socket but I wil not connect to homey and the Meross app on the homey.

I made a account and it seems to connect but then this screen get stuck with the error.

I tryed all regions… Someone a clue how to connect this device an other way?

If the app was installed for a longer time already, you’d uninstall and install it, then try again?

I installed it again but got the same error as picture I send earlier :slightly_frowning_face: I bought the version without homekit is that something that can give the error?

Meross app currently unusable for new users. It is not possible to add new device. Everyone gets same message. Even worst is fact, that developer doesn’t communicate.

The Meross phone app looks like a Tuya whitelabel
You can try to pair it with the Tuya Smart phone app.
If it succeeds, you can add it to Homey.

@Doekse Abe, do you guys happen to have any contacts at Meross?

Gonna dive in to the tuya option otherwise I will send back the Meross product. Ouch indeed…

Unfortunately Meross and Tuya are not compatible.
Homey seems to be working on official Meross app, but even with them developer stopped to communicate, or at least that is what they mentioned in Meross App topic.

For UK and US markets they have a version with Matter support which means you won’t need an app if you have the Homey Pro 2023, not sure for EU plugs.
I personally took a power strip from Tapo P304M which is also Matter but I can’t find the variant for EU plugs

Same problem here

Same problem here, last year everything works fine between Homey and Meross, now it’s not working. I have buy a new outdoor plug and cannot add it to Homey (same message) older plugs also not working. When i delete and install the Meross app for Homey, i receive the same error message.

Please solve the problem, because now i must control the device by activating a Alexa Flow from Homey, not a perfect solution… because it’s unstable
