Does anyone use the bold elite smartlock without the bold hub, solo on Homey? The selling website says it should work, but I can only find flows for the normal lock. The newer elite should e.g. also send messages/show the status of the lock (closed/unlocked). The old lock does not show a status on the app. I’m curious if this works?
When it’s paired as Matter device, you’d find it’s flowcards in the zone it sits in.
@Peter_Kawa Thanks, generally I can imagine you are right. But does it work with the status update? The homey website does not show cards for this. Also the bolt website says the lock cannot be reached externally without the hub. I find this very hard to believe..
The status update is provided by the app itself, if any.
From what I read below, without the hub (“bold connect”) you can use it with Homey using Matter.
When Homey’s Matter implementation does not provide for a status indicator (lock/unlocked, with a lock icon), I think Athom should add it, or Bold should add it to their Homey app.
I think it’s best to contact Bold here about your concerns.
