Then the status page is off no use when this is done manually. I have several servers i maintain, but the check if they work is all automated. And i got several email messages and SMS messages when something is down.
This is very usefull to not have to pysically monitor everything….

Online back-ups and updates are working again. Athom support confirmed this.
The problem I also encountered with not working Siri Shortcuts might not have been related to the cloud outage. I transferred to a new Homey before the weekend. Apparently you have to:
- Reinstall the Homey app on your mobile device,
- Open the Shortcuts app, and
- Replace/set up again the Shortcuts widget on your mobile devices home screen.
I know Henk, worked with monitoring systems for a long time.
But somehow I suspect not everything to be included in the automatic incident tool by Athom.
Why would this easy detectable backup fault not be mentioned on the status page otherwise. That’s what puzzles me.
Maybe because it’s not part of any of the mentioned systems?
And in the API section there is an line for the BACKUP.API!!!
No need for all of those !!! don’t you think?
I’m only trying to think out loud of something why this particular fault isn’t detected by, or is not included in the auto incident creating system.
