I opened a case with Athom on this issue… their response was not very helpful with addressing this matter over thread issue for a supported device type… maybe my description of the issue was not very clear…
@samgabbay Have you had any luck contacting Athom / Homey Pro as a device manufacturer to address any issues with your devices? (From the Homey Website, there is a link for Manufacturers to contact the Homey Pro team (The Talks with Homey Program | Homey). I’m not sure if you’re aware of this option.
