Aqara T2 GU10 bulbs don't reconnect to Homey Pro after a power cut

Hi all,

All my Aqara T2 GU10 bulbs (lumi.light.agl005) lose their connection to Homey Pro after a power cut and never come back on their own. They’re paired directly over Zigbee with the Aqara app

When power returns, the bulbs turn on at full brightness. Homey shows them as off, and every command returns “device not responding” or a timeout. Power cycling the bulbs and restarting Homey don’t help, not even after waiting 20 minutes. The only fix is re-pairing them.

That’s not workable at 2 am when the lights in my daughter’s bedroom are suddenly on at 100%.

Two things I’m looking for:

  1. A way to make the bulbs rejoin Homey automatically after a power cut. Is this a known issue with T2 bulbs on Homey, and has anyone found a fix?
  2. A way to make the bulbs stay off after a power cut. The bulb supports this, but the advanced settings in Homey only show dim transition time, energy and Zigbee info. Can it be set from Homey, or does that need an Aqara hub?

Has anyone dealt with this? I’d like to hear what worked for you.

Thanks!
