Aqara SP-EUC01 (lumi.plug.maeu01) — Zigbee state reverts and red/blue LED when paired directly to Homey Pro

Three Aqara SP-EUC01 smart plugs paired directly to Homey Pro via Zigbee exhibit the following issues:

Issue 1 — State reverts After sending an on/off command from Homey or Alexa, the relay physically clicks and executes the action, but the state reported back to Homey reverts to its previous value after ~5 seconds. This causes Alexa to report incorrect state or “device not found”.

Issue 2 — Red/blue LED alternating After a remote command from Homey, the LED indicator alternates red/blue slowly. According to Aqara documentation this indicates Zigbee network disconnection, but the device continues to respond to commands. A manual Interview from Developer Tools resolves both issues temporarily.

Observations:

  • Both issues only occur when paired directly to Homey Pro via Zigbee

  • When paired via Aqara Hub M3 both issues disappear completely

  • TX Error rate on one device reaches 10% (Network Address ef:a8:6d)

  • Zigbee channel: 25 — no WiFi interference

  • Distance to Homey Pro: 3 meters

  • Issue is reproducible on all 3 SP-EUC01 units

Device info:

  • Model: lumi.plug.maeu01

  • Firmware: 01-13-2023

  • Homey Pro firmware: latest

  • Zigbee channel: 25

Expected behavior: State should persist after command and LED should remain solid blue, as it does when paired via Aqara Hub M3.

Workaround: Manual Interview from tools.developer.homey.app/tools/zigbee resolves temporarily.
