I’ve had my Homey for a couple of years and among the first devices I bought were Aqara sensors. They’ve all worked super great.
At one point the T1’s were released, I went ahead and bought quite a few, seeing as the official app stated that they were supported, which they are, (just not for everyone?).
I tried adding these devices to my Homey, all of them paired, none gave any updates on open/close or battery level. I verified the devices on actual Aqara hubs, no issues there. I’ve seen multiple posts/entries regarding having issues with the T1s.
These devices has been in my tech box for quite some time now, but yesterday I realized I was one Window sensor short in my current setup, so I thought I’d try investigating the T1s myself.
If there is anyone which has had the same issues with this device, feel free to test Odd Devices App
- First go to the app settings and fill in the IEEE address
- Pair the device as per normal
- Press the device button once to get the battery level to show up (feels like this is a hit or miss if the battery is reported in a good way)
