I regret not going through this thread before buying the lock. I have a Linus L2 and the lock is absolutely useless and unreliable. The original Yale app keeps saying it connects to the lock but it never connects, it works via Bluetooth at most. Changing the lock status to Homey doesn’t transfer at all because the wifi settings don’t work. This has been one of the worst purchases in a while. Anyone have similar problems? Is there a chance this will resolve or would it be easier to get another lock?

For my Linus L2 works very good in homey with original Yale app
I have a Doorman and the Changelog says that they have added additional type identifiers. I don’t know if that gives any new features.
Have you tried connecting Linus to Homey with matter instead of the app?

Hi, I bought Yale Linus a few months ago. But I am not able to log in into Yale to use lock with Homey.
I getting error “unknown server error” Anyone experienced such problem?
I´m thinking about buying a Linus L2 and a Smart Keypad 2. Will I be able to add and remove users/PIN codes for the keypad with this Homey app?
Is the app and lock reliable? I read some negative posts about it but that was some time back, maybe it is working well now?
You can’t add or remove users through Homey app. I think there’s a safety measure and you must do it through Yale’s own app.
I’m not saying that. My information was wrong and the app must have been updated. When I got my lock and keypad that option wasn’t there. My apologies. I have to test this right away.
I can confirm it works. Adding the pin through a flow is possible and it shows in Yale’s own app as a permanent access pin. Adding permanent access via Yale’s app is simpler, but I guess using a homey flow can be useful if you want to limit the time when the pin starts to work and when it is disabled.
No worries. Please get back to me with results of the testing, that would be really appreciated. It is a requirement for me to buy the lock.
