I heard back from the Dreo team:
Your login failure is due to a current limitation: EU-region accounts are not yet supported in our auth flow. No developer key or app-specific token is required. We will add EU support next week and publish an update accordingly.
Once the update is live, I’ll release a JavaScript version of the pydreo codebase so others can use it as well. After that, I’ll start working on the Dreo app for Homey. I’ll keep y’all posted!

We’ve ordered three different types of devices from the States for integration and testing purposes; a tower fan, circulation fan and a evaporative humidifier.

Just go an email from the Dreo development team that they’ve updated the pydreo codebase to support regions outside of the US. The samples are currently also on their way. Soooo…..

Had a great chat with the DREO team at IFA last weekend. They’re eager to handle the integration themselves, ensuring that new devices are supported the moment they launch. We’ll be onboarding them as an official partner soon

Nice to see that work is being done on this! I also support the request for Homey integration of Dreo fans and wall heaters. Will be receiving wall heater soon, and had planned control via Homey.
Looking to move to homey from homeassistant and dreo is one of my humidifiers so im really looking forward to this
Is there a timeline for the Dreo app or should I continue down the Home Assistant integration route?
They expect to launch a first version somewhere in January. I’ll be speaking with them next week at CES
