[APP] Reolink

Yeah this is quite odd, as there should be a “normal” Doorbell rang trigger card, just like the button pressed or switch turned on triggers.

Few folks push doorbell buttons for longer than 1s imho.

The doorbell ring card doesn’t work when the doorbell is connected via home hub pro.

It only works when the doorbell is added directly. All the ReoLink cameras have more functionality when they are connected to Homey directly, rather than indirectly through an NVR or Home Hub Pro.

The 1.0.19 update fixed the livestream on my dashboard:tada: Thanks!

Hi Koktail! Thanks so much for the app—I’m really glad it’s out now.

Will there be a “Then” card with “Siren On” for cameras in the future? That would be cool

Best regards, René

Very happy with the offical Reolink app. One feature request which would help a lot:

a THEN-card to stop the doorbell ringing our phones

Use case: someone rings the door, I open the door, but the Reolink app on my iPhone keeps calling me and my wife. Homey knows the front door has been opened and I would like to use that trigger to stop the ringing.

I’m really excited about the official integration! It would be great if support for controlling Reolink Home Hub scenes could be added in a future update. Keep up the great work!

Hi!
When you mean the non-Homey related mobile Reolink app, very little chance any Homey app can control it’s notifications.

I know, but one can always ask

Continuing the discussion from [APP] Reolink:

Who knows the solution? Everything is set up correctly, and yet I can’t find a camera.

That should already be available.

Are they on same subnet? Can you try add it directly by the ip address?

I don’t have these settings to activate in my Argus Eco…is it not compatible?

Doorbell button now works with Onvif port set to 8000, thanks for the hint, Leendert!
Maybe one day you can add support for custom Onvif ports, as a nice to have.

Battery cameras don’t support server ports, as they sleep to conserve power, so can’t be connected to the network constantly to listen for requests.

Yes,

I also entered the entire address and tried it, but unfortunately it keeps indicating nothing found.

Update

It worked now, username of the camera combined with the password of the Reolink app.

Hi @Koktail,

Congrats on the Reolink App release!

I’m having issues with viewing my camera streams and I’m having differing results on different devices.

I have the battery doorbell, an E1 and Garden Floodlight. All of these cameras are integrated with Homey via the official Reolink App. I have found that I cannot view any streams via the Homey Android App on either phone or tablet. When I go to view the streams, they appear to be loading, then says ‘Live’, but the stream is blank (black) and no image is shown.

Oddly enough, I can view the streams via Homey Web on desktop - only issue is that the quality is very low, possibly below the default display resolutions on the Reolink app.

Another oddity is that I CAN view the camera steams using the Virtual IP Camera facility in Homey App when entering the appropriate URL (rtsp://user:password@192.168.0.1/Preview_01_main), but I then can’t view it on the Homey Web via desktop.

I have the appropriate protocols enabled on the Reolink Home Hub (HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP, ONVIF). Please let me know what other info I can provide you diagnose the issue. Thanks.

Will the app support enabling “Privacy Mode“ in Reolink cameras (e.g. in Reolink E1 Zoom)?

That should already be available.

I did a little testing:

The siren works with my “E1 Pro”
It doesn’t work with the “CX820” (I have 3 of them—none of them work)
