I read in a post that the Qubino plug does not update its kWh at all. I have that same problem with 2 of those devices. That would be fixed with a firmware update? Is that true?..
I did send a email to Qubino bij there website.
I did receive instruction for updating the plug. I must buy a Z-wave stick otherwise it was not possible.
Otherwise I could try to make a flow for updating the plug for the KWh.
How can I transfer the new parameter to homey with the ZMNHVD 0-10v module?
Every time I add it again it goes back to default settings.
I have the raw parameters at 1,1,5;10,2,0; but also have no readout on the input 0-10v.
I have difficulties getting a Qubino DIN Dimmer connected to the Z-Wave network. Neither the automatic connection when connected to electricity nor the â3x toggling of the switchâ yields any result in connecting Homey Pro (3m away from the switch) to the DIN Dimmer.
Did anyone experience a similar challenge and if so, any advice?
Donât own a Qubino DIN Dimmer but according the manual there is a third inclusion method possible:
Press and hold the S (Service) button for at least 2 seconds
According to the manual, this is the exact procedure when using the switch:
Toggle the switch connected to the I1 terminal 3 times within 3 seconds. The device has to get On/Off signal 3 times, meaning 3 times push on the push button or 6 times press of the switch.
I got it to work with pressing the S button for 2 minsâŚalthough the instruction seems to imply it only works with the 24V version. Anyway, another one connected, thanks!
I also will send an email, 'cause I donât think this is monitored well.
I have a Homey Pro 2023 and canât use any qubino product. My Flush 1D Relay reports a state update when toggled via a connected switch and the temperature. But homey canât change it - really usesless. At the same time a âbasic on/off frameâ sent fom the z-wave tools - will do it. So it should be an easy fix for a dev?
My next device is a Flush Shutter DC, it basically does nothing - itâs a pain to remove it and perform an reset, Iâll keep you updated on request.
As you may be aware, we are currently engaged in the development of a new series of devices with Shelly. Consequently, our activity in updating the previous series 500 Qubino devices and their associated apps has been somewhat limited.
However, in our commitment to ensuring the satisfaction of our customers, we have reached what we believe to be the most favourable solution regarding the Qubino app for Homey. We have decided to release the code publicly on GitHub.
You may find the repository of the app on the next address:
I have just installed a new homey pro running v11.1.0 and app version 8.2.0.1481. I am trying to install a mini dimmer (ZMNHHD) which was on my original homey from 2018. I attempt to enter exclusion mode either by toggling the switched live 3 times, or by holding the service button for 6 seconds, in either case nothing shows on the app.
My first question is whether the fairly elderly module is compatible with the latest homey and app, especially as there is a move for Qubino to be modified Shelly technologies as time goes on . Also should I be trying a full reset before install? Is there anything else I can try to get the units to pair?
Iâve had homey and the qubino within 20mm of each other, and still no joy. This is all I get, with the blue flashing as shown. Is that what others see?
If the app isnât compatible with the HP23, you wouldnât be able to install it at all.
Another point to check if an App is compatible or not, is to check the App Store:
I am not aware of any app in which only certain devices are compatible with certain Homey models. So the Mini Dimmer (ZMNHHD) is compatible with the HP23.
I turned off the power to the switch for 10 seconds, turned it back on then went through the inclusion proces and SUCCESS! No idea why but in retrospect power cycling works in so many instances.
Sounds like that you were out of Homeyâs Z-Wave range.
What was the distance to Homey? Do you have more Z-Wave actors/repeaters in use that a connection could have been made via these devices?
