Can I send individual current info to chargers if I have several Zaptec Go 2 chargers, or do all chargers need to share the same current info?
Scenario:
Available current:
P1: 22A P2: 16A P3: 16A
Send to charger 1:
P1: 16A P2: 16A P3: 16A
Send to charger 2:
P1: 6A P2: 0A P3: 0A
This way I can force charger 1 to charge ”fast” and charger 2 to charge slow insted of they both charging at the same ”slow/medium” speed at P1: 6A P2: 6A P3: 6A each.

I have an issue with the zaptec connection. That I cannot get resolved. After 1 day or so it loses connection. Not that it display the red triangle, but when I try to update the charging state it gives an timeout error. Restarting the app usually works. However I was hoping not having to restart the app every 12 hours for my other flows to work. Anyone know how to fix this.
i am running a 23 model over WiFi and have assigned a static IP to the charger. The charger is a Zaptec Go.

I’m using a Zaptec Go 2 with Sense and a Homey Pro (early 2019). Is it possible to view the current for each separate phase from the Sense meter? In the Zaptec Homey app I can only display the charging current for each phase but I would like to be able to view my total current.
I have my Zaptec charger connected to my Tibber app, and set it up to Grid Rewards that charges the car automatically to 100% before a defined time I have set (6:00 the next morning). It also checks how the load on the power grid (total in my area) is, so when there is much usage in the power grid it stops the charging, and then resumes when the load is lower. For that I get rewarded with money that gets subracted from the power bill.
But sometimes I need to use the car later in the evening and then need to charge the car manually. This works if I open the Tibber app and start the charging from there. But I want to do it from Homey and Google Home (voice commands).
But I get an error message trying to start the charging from Homey. See below. Anyone know what this can be. Is it possible to do it like I describe, or do I need to disconnect it from the Tibber app to make it work like this?

Maybe Tibber uses another method to pause the charging, for example by lowering the charge current below the 6A minimum (charging stops). You can try increasing the limit first via Homey to see if that works.
Pausing charging via Zaptec isn’t very reliable; my car sometimes restarts charging at random times. This might vary from car to car, but that might have been a reason for Tibber to adjust the pausing method.
For the past 7 years I have been using a Zappi charger for my EVs. I had this connected to Homey and using the Power by the Hour app I was able to keep track of the costs of my charging sessions. Data was coming to Homey in near realtime.
Yesterday I replaced the Zappi with a Zaptec Go 2. I have successfully added the charger to Homey and I am able to start and stop charging etc. My problem is that status updates from the charger to Homey are very slow. Some measures seem to be updated only once in 5 minutes, but the main issue is that “Energy this year” was last updated 9 hours ago when I’m writing this post. This makes it impossible for Power by the Hour to keep track of costs because the price changes every 15 minutes. To reliably do this, this meter would have to be updated at least once a minute.
Does anyone have a solution to this? Is there some setting I can change?
Update: I see that the signed meter value gets updated every hour. That is still not sufficient for 15 min pricing, but better than the other measure. Could that value somehow be used in the Homey energy dashboard and the Power by the hour app?
@philipostli, I have a similar problem: I also prefer to have power usage as the status indicator, but as soon as the charging station finishes charging, the status indicator switches to “Any Alarm,” which in this case is “Car connected.”
Also it doesn’t change back to power usage when charging. Since my charging station (Zaptec Pro) is listed on the first screen of my Homey app and my car is almost always connected (smart charging), it results in a permanent yellow exclamation mark.
Can something be done about this?
Is this app still being maintained? I haven’t noticed much activity lately. In the meantime, I managed to solve the issues I had with energy reporting and submitted a pull request on GitHub so others could benefit too, but it’s been over a month without any response.
Giving this thread a bump. Next week my Zaptec Go 2 will be installed. For Solar charging I want to use the actual power of the Zaptec to calculate the Solar charging quantity.
there is a recent update of the Zaptec sense. You Will be able to automate Solar charging through Zaptec sense. However it only gets updated once in 15 minutes
I have installed my Zaptec go 2 and installed the app. Through Homey I calculate the available solar power and change the current. However there is no card to pause the charging. I used change current to 0 A but that is not a valid state it seems when I try to resume charging I get the error that the charger is not paused therefore resume is not possible. I also have built in a delay of 10 minutes to restart charging.
The start/stop cards are actually resume/pause.
However, ‘pausing’ by reducing the current below 6A, is a fine method and is also widely used. In my experience, pausing (the ‘stop’ card) is not flawless; the car can also request to resume (at least my KIA does from time to time). A current of 0A always works, though.
Be careful not to use them interchangeably, because that is possible. If you set the current to 0A, charging stops, but it is not in pause-state. You can still issue the stop (pause) command. After that, ‘start’ will not give an error message, but as long as the current is at 0A, charging will not resume.
Edit:
Another advantage of pausing via 0A current is that charging does not start immediately upon connecting the cable. In other words: it works independently of the charging session. Start/Stop only works within the session.
Thanx for your post. I used the 0A card to pause but when I change the current to >0 it doesnt restart charging. Maybe it’s the car. I am now considering not switch back to 0A
I found the problem after debugging. My charging solar script starts with 0A when the cable is plugged. When this happens Zaptec goes immediately in a official pause state after I plug the cable in.
I changed the script to start with 6A and when it goes back to 0A it’s not an official pause so when the current is changed to higher than 0 the charging resumes.
What is the best to use?
Or can I put the Zaptec app into Tibber and Homey Pro and use Zaptec app too? What combination is possible and the best to use?

@EdNL you can use all three apps at the same time. You just have to realize that you should not create conflicting logic. So if you let Tibber manage your charging, do not create flows in Homey to start and stop charging. For viewing purposes it is fine to use everything at the same time.
@JRA you cannot see values from Zaptec sense in the Homey app. There is no API for that. Zaptec Sense is fine for load balancing, it is just a bit slow in increasing the charge limit after it was decreased. It can take up to 15 minutes before it resumes charging at full speed again.
I use the zaptec app in Homey. I calculate the available solar power in homey and that triggers the change of the current of the Zaptec charger. Indeed like Tycho said no conflicting logic, you can use all three
