Hello, for weeks now I’ve been having a problem where my Xiaomi Smart Humidifier is no longer being recognized. Everything worked perfectly for the first few months. It’s displayed correctly in the Xiaomi app on my phone and I can control it. When I restart the app on my Homey system, it’s displayed correctly for a short time, but after a few seconds it’s shown as unreachable again.
Hi, please provide diagnostic logs before and after re-adding the device, thank you.
Before doing so, please ensure you have right IP and Token.
For how many weeks please ? In the logs I just see attempt to connect to device, which timeouts. Does it respond to pings, have you tried to re-plug it ? Did you check the IP is still the same also in the official Xiaomi app ?
Anyone around with Mi Smart Antibacterial Humidifier JSQ2W, confirmed working fine ?
I don’t know exactly, I’d guess about 10 weeks.
I just tried again.
The IP address is correct, the token is correct.
When I log in to Xiaomi online, my device is also displayed on the web.
Which one should I choose for my Humidifier 2 ?
I had chosen the Mi Smart Antibacterial Humidifier MIoT (WiFi) at the time.
This version ran stably for many months.
I tried it again, but…
10 weeks…
Did it happen right after some update from my side ? If so, which version ? At that time, if you were on production, not test version, there were no changes 10 weeks ago. Originally I planned to switch to prod on May/2026 but I did the switch after all August/2026.
Normally you follow :
But you are using the correct one - humidifier_deerma_humidifier_miot
Is it local or cloud based integration, have you had to setup Xiaomi Cloud account for HA ?
Also when you paired it again, I see “Call to device timed out” multiple time per seconds, that should not happen.
Just to be sure, can you check “polling” interval in the device setting ? Safe value would be >10 sec, then restart the device and wait for polling interval, if that would help.
@Sharkys This app is really BACK! ![]()
Planing to invest in a Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain 2 EU

Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plans in Homey
The Xiaomi Mi Home app now supports discovering and starting saved Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plans from a Homey Flow. If you were pissed like me that you can’t start cleaning in certain order, Custom cleanup is Xiaomi solution for it and it’s pretty hidden in the Xiaomi app - you need to swipe up in the Xiaomi app on the bottom part.
Compatible models
- Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Pro (
xiaomi.vacuum.d102gl) - Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max (
xiaomi.vacuum.d109gl) - confirmed on real device - Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 (
xiaomi.vacuum.ov51gl)
How to use it
- Open Xiaomi Home and create one or more Custom cleanup plans.
- Configure the rooms, their cleaning order, cleaning mode and other available settings.
- Save each plan under a recognizable name.
- In Homey, create a Flow or Advanced Flow.
- Add the action card Start Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plan.
- Select your vacuum and then select one of the discovered plans.
- Save and test the Flow.
When the Flow runs, the app refreshes the plan catalogue and starts the selected Xiaomi Home plan. The room order stored in the plan is preserved—this has been confirmed on the X20 Max.
If a plan is deleted and recreated in Xiaomi Home, it may receive a new internal ID. In that case, edit the Homey Flow and select the plan again.
Troubleshooting
If no plans appear:
- Confirm that at least one Custom cleanup plan exists in Xiaomi Home.
- Reopen the Homey Flow card to refresh the list.
- Verify that the correct vacuum is selected.
A read-only Diagnose Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plans action is also available for collecting diagnostic information without starting a cleaning job. So start the custom cleanup and right after start the flow Diagnose Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plans and then send Diagnostic log from the Homey Xiaomi Home app.
Real-device operation and room-order preservation have been verified on the X20 Max. X20 Pro and H40 use the same compatible MIoT interface, but additional user confirmation for those models is welcome.
