Hi, thank you,but what is rather more helpful is the debug log directly from the app,can you attach it? Also I will be releasing soon some additional update, please test that as well and share your feesback if possible
Hi Sharkys,
Sure. I’d be happy to provide the debug log.
I’m not sure where to obtain the app’s debug log on Homey Pro 2023. Could you tell me where I can find or generate it?
I’ll reproduce the issue and send the log right afterwards.
… in the Mobile App → find my app → settings → Create Diagnostic Report → provide details of the issue and press SEND REPORT.
No need to share ID here, I will find it.
Please provide the debug log with latest version - re-pairing is recommended for the cleanest capability setup, although existing devices should migrate on initialization.

3.5.3
Improved Advanced Xiaomi Fan MIoT support with new mode, fan-level and swing-angle Flow cards, plus faster and more reliable state updates. (credits @N-Bark)
Hi Sharkys,
I’ve submitted a diagnostic report after reproducing the issue.
Diagnostic Report ID: 4a0c7ad7-e7f2-4f97-918c-50a8657e181e
I’d be happy to test the latest version. However, my Homey is still running Xiaomi Mi Home v3.4.27, even though automatic app updates are enabled, so I don’t seem to have access to v3.5.4 yet.
As soon as the update becomes available, I’ll re-pair the fan as you recommended, test all the functions, and submit another diagnostic report if I find any remaining issues.
Thanks again for maintaining the app and for looking into support for the xiaomi.fan.p76!
Follow the link and press Install. Unfortunately reports from such old version are not really helpfull ;-(
Your timing is perfect, I just contributed a driver that supports xiaomi models xiaomi.fan.p30/43/45/51/69/70/76/85 in Xiaomi Mi Home app.
It have about everything you are missing, but you need to remove and re-pair with the latest beta 3.5.3 and use the spanking new “Advanced Xiaomi Smart Fan MIot (WiFi)” driver.
To install beta, click the (test) tag in the “View changelog”
The links I always share here are pointing directly to test version already (FYI)
Hi Sharkys and Niklas,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to both of you!
I installed the latest beta, removed my old device, and paired it again using the new Advanced Xiaomi Smart Fan MIoT (WiFi) driver.
I’m happy to report that everything now works perfectly with my Xiaomi Smart Standing Air Circulation Fan (xiaomi.fan.p76).
Fan speed, Straight/Normal and Natural modes, Natural Wind levels, horizontal and vertical oscillation, swing angles, LED, buzzer and state updates are all working exactly as expected.
I really appreciate the time and effort you’ve both put into this project. It’s great to see such quick support and continuous improvements, especially for less common devices like mine.
Thank you, Niklas, for developing the new fan driver, and thank you, Sharkys, for maintaining the app and helping users. Your work is genuinely appreciated.
Thanks again to both of you for the excellent work! ![]()
Sorry, english only. When you are lazy to write in English, seeing whole thread is in English, I’m then lazy to translate your post
Btw you might maybe find some guidance in the 1st post of this thread.

Production version 3.4.27 has been replaced by version 3.5.8.
This is a major update containing substantial changes. Although the test version already has a significant number of users, issues may still occur after the production rollout—particularly with devices that have received updated drivers and capabilities since the previous production release, which was published more than a year ago.
When reporting a problem:
- Report the facts clearly and in English.
- Describe what happened, what you expected, and whether the issue can be reproduced.
- Submit a diagnostic report from the app
- Do not repeatedly ask for an ETA or post complaints without technical details.
Constructive and detailed reports allow issues to be identified and resolved more efficiently. Reports without sufficient information will not be actionable.
Thank you for your understanding and thank you for your appreciation of my work

Hello, I wrote my message in English; my browser translated it when I sent it. Thank you for the reply; I’ll look at the first few messages.
Change the browser/plugin then … if it did change the content without your awareness, it’s not good, right.
To your questions / requests:
Support for the Xiaomi Smart Pet Care Air Purifier (xiaomi.airp.cpa5) has now been added to the Advanced Mi Air Purifier MIoT driver. It includes power control, PM2.5 and filter information, supported operating modes, favorite fan level, display, buzzer and pet/child lock controls.
Named-room cleaning has also been added for the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S12 (xiaomi.vacuum.b106eu). Use the existing room-cleaning Flow action and enter the required numeric room/segment IDs separated by commas.
Rectangular-zone cleaning is not included at this time and I do not plan to add this functionality.
Please test https://homey.app/a/com.xiaomi-miio/test/ and report back, ideally providing feedback in the Dignostic log please.
Thanks for the quick service; I’ve already been able to try it out with the air purifier, and it works well.
Hi!
I’m having an issue with my Mi Air Purifier 3H (zhimi.airpurifier.mb3).
Homey Pro 2019 with Xiaomi Mi Home v3.5.8 detects the device automatically and reads all sensor values correctly (temperature, status, etc.).
However, every control command (power, mode, fan speed) fails with:
Call to device timed out
The purifier works perfectly in the official Xiaomi Home app, so the device is online and connected.
Diagnostics ID: 015222e0-167b-480f-a01e-4dc61af921e7
Has anyone experienced this with zhimi.airpurifier.mb3, or is this a known issue?
Could you confirm that the values actually change live in Homey—for example, switch the purifier using Xiaomi Home and check whether Homey’s power state follows within 1–2 minutes? Also, please provide the purifier firmware version and confirm whether changing LED or buzzer settings from Homey produces the same timeout.
And again, after attemting, include feedback in diagnostic log please.
Please try again with latest test version
Now it works
thank you
